el objetivo es obvio: queda un mes y medio para acabar el escenario y hay que dañar la base lo máximo posible para hacer un desembarco en condiciones y con las menores pegas posibles (que las habrá). Cada avión o suministro de menos que tenga, es un pequeño paso.

el yamato no tiene nada, más que 4 de daños en flotabilidad y sistemas que en truk seran reparados en 5-6-7 días.

buenas chicos, 3 cosas:

1-sabiendo que iba a pasar algo he ejecutado el turno y efectivamente ha habido la batalla gorda, y se me ha olvidado grabar totalmente, directamente ni he caido en ello. CULPA MIA, disculpad.

2-pero para que veais que no hay trampa ni carton os pongo el combat report, que aqui no se trata de ocultar nada.

3-partida acabada por casi hundimiento total de mi flota.
a) no se pq mi flota aeronaval (la grande) no ha salido antes y el ha atacado antes. CREO que ha sido pq hacia mal tiempo, totalmente nublado y la tf pequeña de cvl's no ah sido capaz de sacar nada.
b) a pesar de ello como veis, mi tf principal SI ha salido antes y NO ha dado a nada, a nada ,a nada suyo A NADA.
c) cuando la suya ha salido, la segunda vez, contra la mia gorda, me ha destruido como veis casi todo.
d) ni él ni yo teniamos BB's por la zona, estaban ambos en camino, así que tampoco me puedo escudar en ello (falta de petroleo y prisas), pero es que a el, me temo que le ha pasado lo mismo pq si mirais el combat report él tp tiene nada en esa tf, todos los ataques han sido contra los 3 cv's y como digo, no han dado a NADA.
e) el combate naval primero no influyo, creo yo, ocurrio pq mi tf tenia orden de no retirarse pero los daños que veis son asi, excepto el dd lo demas tiene daños que son rasguños superficiales y que no han influido, creo, en nada, lo unico que paso es que se retiro 1 hex y este hex tp ha influido pq sali yo antes que el a atacarle.

Buenas a todos.

Ya puedo entrar a este hilo y me gustaría comentar varias cosas con respecto a la partida.

La primera y más importante es poder contar con un rival como Maulet, que además de poner las cosas difíciles ha sabido ser paciente con mis no-turnos diarios. Así que desde aquí mi agradecimiento.

Vamos por partes. Inicialmente me he planteado jugar muy a la defensiva, repartiendo los recursos donde sean más útiles y necesarios. Obviamente el ataque a Guadalcanal era una ofensiva total, aunque tardé más de lo esperado porque una flota de barcos aliados desembarcó cuando le dió la gana y como le dió la gana. En partidas sp u contra otros rivales siempre me salió bien la jugada y las tropas que se retiraban de Lunga caían rápidamente como moscas. En este caso no fue así y tuve que invertir tiempo y recursos en terminar de tomar el 100% del archipiélago. Vuelvo a lo dicho y me planteo una estrategia defensiva donde los principales items serían los siguientes:

1. Negarle al japonés un encuentro de portaaviones donde tiene ventaja a priori
2. Intentar que los bettys no hagan su trabajo como torpederos de modo cómodo, así que intentaré aprovechar sitios donde tenga apoyo aéreo o el tiempo sea nefasto para el despegue de la aviación. Evitaré así bastantes bajas de buques aliados.
3. Mis submarinos, a pesar del defecto de los torpedos, recibirán los mandos más agresivos posibles e intentaremos tomar posiciones cerca de las bases principales niponas. Más tarde y viendo el poco éxito obtenido, decidí movilizar gran parte de los submarinos a aguas entre Truk y Rabaul.
4. Evitar encontrarnos con el Yamato y demás buques pesados nipones y menos de noche. Aunque ésto no va a depender en exclusiva de mi.
5. Gastar puntos de mando en tropas, hq's, ingenieros y AA que lo requieran para proteger rápidamente las bases principales en Guadalcanal, Port Moresby y Milney Bay.
6. Mejorar todos los puertos que podamos y mejorar los aeródromos lo más rápido posible, aquellos cerca del enemigo y los designados para los 4e incluso en Australia. Mi intención es usar los 2e y 4e sobre posiciones enemigas cerca de Port Moresby anulando así sus bases, sobre todo Lae y sus pistas de aterrizaje. Cuando pueda, ataque masivo sobre Rabaul al puerto y a las pistas.

Esto a rasgos generales. Me sorprendió que Japón no bombardeara a diestro y siniestro Milney Bay y las bases en Guadalcanal. El combustible es escazo así que pensaba que lo estaba reservando para grande ofensivas con invasiones en playas.

El último ataque y enfrentamiento aeronaval ha sido bastante duro para el interés de Japón. Básicamente le he destrozado su fuerza aérea embarcada con lo que su nivel de proyección o protección había sufrido un duro revés. Aún sabiendo - o intuía - que era un cebo japonés situar esos buques en el atolón al norte de Guadalcanal, he conseguido arreglar la base de Lunga en tiempo record, enviar aviones en tromba y acercar mis cv's a Lunga para que estuviera por un lado bajo el paraguas defensivo de dicha pista en tierra y por otro, aportar en el ataque a 5 hex de Lunga. Mis aviones llegan a 6 hex así que si el tiempo era bueno, íbamos a darle caña al japonés en este turno asumiendo posibles bajas. Desconocíamos si habían buques pesados y cv's, ya que mis informes indicaban cve y cvl. Atacamos. Y salió bien, muy bien.

Maulet presenta una derrota formal y acepto.
