NEW FEATURE

BOR becomes AJE-aware!
Birth of Rome is now capable of using the AJE scenarios, if you installed it anywhere on your PC! Both games remain standalone, meaning you don't need to buy AJE to play BOR scenarios, but now, if you bought AJE, you only need to launch BOR to get the scenarios of both games!

- Added Magister to Lucanian army in the beginning of the scenario
- Added replacements to Umbrian units
- Fix to the Lin Teata legions option (now it will bring 2 legions and the total force pool will be 4)

- several missing and erroneous messages corrected

Senones scenario
- corrected objective cities list if SPQ takes option to go to war with the Cenomanii

- cancelled the recruitment of new militia (auto-garrison not altered)
- fix to the double consuls bug

FPW264 scenario:
- Carthaginian army fixed in Africa for 18 turns
- SPQ Duumvir present from the beginning (in Neapolis)
- Messana strait night crossing option available from turn 1 and AI usage of this option improved

- "Massalia Supports Rome" option will unblock the Massalian fleet

FPW scenarios (264 and 256):
- reduced heavily the probability of regeneration of the mercenary recruitment options (IN EVALUATION)
- cancelled the recruitment of new militia (auto-garrison not altered)
- New military option: beginning in January -263, the romans can recruit one new legion (and one ala)
- fix to the double consuls bug
- fix to Xanthippus of Sparta option
- fix to Baal sacrifice and War declaration by Carthage options
- small fixes to the Numidian at War replacements and the Attack on Massalia events

Kiel Bay assigned to Baltic Seas weather zone. Allows proper movement into the Baltic Sea.

Setups
Railroad (Transport Level) corrected in Torun, Marienweder, Ventspils and Talsi.

Drang Nach Osten
If the German Ultimatum is fully accepted:
All RED permanently fixed garrisons and Partisan Infantry in Ukraine are destroyed [not relocated] and artillery replacements given. Other Red forces move to Rostov as before.
The Kolkov and Red Dneper redoubts are removed
Changed the Faction Relationship between Red and German to be “neutral” [20]. This should remove ability to get supplies in each others terrotory.

Added change in Faction Relationship to -100 between RED and GER when Reds declare ware on Turkey. War will then exists between Reds and Germany [and all German sub-factions]

Grand Campaign
Added message to Reds that Makhin deserts the Reds to join the Komuch

Graphics
Reconciled the icons for Morale, VP and EP on Main Map and in Ledger. [thank you ERISS]

Spartacus DLC scenario (if you have it):
- small fix: Lilybaeum now unlocked if revolt extends to Sicily

All scenarios
-Fix to an issue that was preventing the AI from using several options (specially military)

- NavalBase will speed up ShipRepair/ShipBuild (10 % more than Ports).

Gracias Picaron. tengo el BOR y el AJE,si actualizo el BOR (que es desde el que juego todos los mapas) no me hace falta actualizar el AJE? Hay 3 mapas nuevos?

No son "aleas", mosquitos, calor y tormentas de arena que afectan a la "salud" y a la cohesión. Se han añadido a las ya existentes: Tormentas en el mar, epidemias, etc. No son mapas.

Los parches son para los dos juegos, instalalos en el BOR y en el AJE, mas que nada por tenerlos al día.

He instalado el pache del WIA 1.10e sobre el anterior que tenia el 1.10a. Al arrancar el juego me aparecen 27 escenarios en vez de los 30 que traia con la version anterior. :ojeroso:

Por que se pierden escenarios?

El archivo lo tienes que copiar o descomprimir en WIA\events, con lo que machacas el archivo anterior.

En cuanto a los escenarios que han desaparecido te lo cuenta en unos post más abajo, concretamente en el post #7, que, resumiendo, viene a decir que se cambiaron unas especificaciones del juego y tres escenarios quedaron obsoletos, dejándolos para que en un futuro se arreglaran las objeciones (lodilefty, desgraciadamente ha dejado, por cuestiones personales, temporalmente estos pequeños arreglos).

PD: En cuanto al filtro de lealtad tengo que decirte que desgraciadamente a mí sí me funciona, por lo que puede ser un defecto de instalación tuyo.

Civil War II Updates

Patch 1.01
Release Date: September 26, 2013

How to update your game:

This patch is a comprehensive patch. It can upgrade to latest version any previous version of CW2.
Exceptionally, you'll be prompted again for your serial key. This is because we are updating the file storing it, so we can disable turn compression by default for all users (increased stability). Sorry for the inconvenience.
LIST OF CHANGES

Bonus Scenario
There is a new mid-sized scenario proposed in this patch, the West Campaign, featuring the operations of famous generals Grant, Sherman, Johnston and a few others well-known faces. This campaign lasts 24 turns and is a great stepping-stone for people wanting to prepare for the Grand Campaign!

Interface
Flag fluttering is stopped during hosting.

Gameplay
Battle planner will trigger often (there can be false positive, i.e it triggers but no battle ensues)
Blockade Runner 'income' increased (were suffering from the reduction from 'easy OMB handling')
Development level increases moderately movement cost (-20% speed in wild region, -10% in cleared, no change above)
Weather will be more variable depending of the grand weather zones.
Neutral units can't pillage your regions.
Battle planner will only trigger if a battle is certain. At most 5 deployments shown and usable.

Recon&Raid max distance from 5 to 2 regions
AI Aggressivity down, overall and in Mid-Atlantic particularly
AI dismiss brigades more often resulting in improved formations with more punch!

IMPORTANTE:

Here is the release candidate of the first official patch to Civil War II. It has been tested for several days and it fixes a lot of things. If no showstopper is spotted, then it will be the first official patch.

It is recommended to restart a new game with this patch, as some events need to be re-initialized. You can continue a current game, it will works, but you'll probably not enjoy all the fixes.

Also, as a bonus you get a new scenario, a mid-sized campaign. You are welcome to read the details of all the changes here. These details are also in the patch and added as a file in this post.
