ROP Official Patch 1.04a

El enlace

http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.p ... post254068

Lo que contiene

Updated to version 1.04a:

Game Engine [continues as version 121011]
Setups

1762 Campaign: Disabled the Empress Elisabeth death sequence [Russia already allied with Prussia at start]
All setups recompiled to fix the “all Wild” Development level bug [effective only in newly started games]

Events

Corrected several Area Alias errors in the Prussian AI events

Database
Corrected several duplicated Aliases [thank you LaFrite for the Python© Script Check software to find these]

Version 1.04:

Game Engine [updated to version 121011]
You can now disembark troops from a fleet trapped in ice.
Cavalry alone can no longer assault Forts
Siege improvements [supplementing rules added in version 1.02]
Besieged forces will now take attrition hits every turn, in proportion of their number and how the siege roll went (anti over-crowding rule).
If too many breaches accumulated, then a surrender roll is always possible (whatever the presence of a depot, super elite troops, etc.)
Each breach will make the besieged consume an extra 5% of his normal supply usage. The purpose of this rule is that by upping the supply usage, you'll have more chances to have your supply depleted enough so that the depot (or supply wagon) can't provide its 'surrender protection' to the besieged force. For the rationale, just consider that the breaches are also making depots and stocks explode or be wasted, as you get shelled pretty heavily, etc...
Fixed a bug where a lone sneaky leader could prevent a siege to happen, even if siege indicator was correctly shown

Fixed bug of a leader removed from his parent unit, corrupting the unit he is in.
A retreating army can now split static units (abandon them) to escape better
Corrected display of Costs to Construct in the Element Detail window [thank you AJE team!]
Fixed a display issue with the animated battle gauge where a leader portrait could appear erroneously.
Leaders killed in battles while embedded in an unit (corps commander e.g) won’t cause recombination problems anymore.
If an attack is called off without routing (aka AutoRetreat), the attacking forces will revert to defensive posture but won’t retreat in another region.
A too low cohesion can make a stack call off an assault, aggressive leaders will have a tendency to force the troops though.
If you have suffered from the loyalty bug, you can bring the console and type ‘CleanupLoyalty’. On next turn processing, odd loyalties will start to be removed. This will use the same logic as in the line before, only 100 times faster.
Added Overcrowding rule:
The overcrowding rule exists to penalize (rather substantially) forces that are too numerous to defend adequately in-cityscape structures (mostly cities and forts). As with other rules, the engine is not prohibiting in 'a hard way' troops to be stationed en masse in a given structure, as it would pose very large problems to handle for the interface, then the AI. Instead, it follows the philosophy of 'you can do it, but that's not optimal'...
See Wiki article at: http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/Overcrowding_Rule

Exported additional Game Setting parameters
Screener, Disrupter and Rout Damage limits [in GameLogic.opt]

Enabled Main Menu option: Dynamic Borders to view the boundary between controlled areas. [may affect map scrolling speed]
Enabled Main Menu option: switch to 120DPI fonts [for higher resolution displays]
Fixed the exploit where a newly built unit could be incorporated into a Division, whereby the cost to build was immediately refunded
Fixed a bug whereby a unit under siege could always escape from the region using a specific sequence of Movement orders, Passive posture, and Evasive Move Special Order settings

Events

Sanitation Event will no longer select a Fixed group
Added Palatinate Elite replacements: 1 chit twice per year starting late in 1756
1756 Campaign:

Saxon Capitulation “Trigger event” will occur with 75% probability once stated requirements are met [was 100%].

1756 and 1757 Campaigns:

AUS gets a free Depot at Wierzbolow when Russians land at Memel

1762 Campaign:

Removed events causing duplicated leaders

Database

Corrected Seaman ability to give bonus in water regions and transition links
“Northerner” ability now defined as Swedish territory [was Northern Germany]

Bergen, Wolgast, Greifswald, Grimmen, Stralsund, Wismar, Karlskrona, Sweden, Christianstadt, Simmersharen, Malmoe, Lund, Helsinborg

All Swedish forces now have “Northerner” malus [penalty to parameters when outside the “Northerner” area]
Changed AUS and SAX Insurrecto Infantry model to be Militia [not Line]. Also fixed the Unit symbols for all Insurrecto Infantry units to indicate “Home” areas.
Models and Units for 1740 are included to facilitate future expansions.

PON1.03c Quick fix

El enlace

http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.p ... post254475

Lo que contiene

Dear players,

Here is a quickfix patch to Pride of Nations 1.03. Being a quickfix, you need to have 1.03 installed before installing this 1.03c, as this is not an all inclusive patch since PON 1.00.

We will do our best to fix and enhance the game, little by little every month (or even every fortnight, if a new problem arise).

Changelog from 1.03b to 1.03c

Engine

Issues with save corruption from 1.03a should be fixed now. We can help you recover a saved game if need be.

Gamelogic

Acquiring national regions:
If a region has 100% loyalty, then it will acquire automatically 'non colonial, non national status'. This status is converted spontaneously to 'national status' if there is a land bridge to the capital...

Ruler & negative rating:
Negative values are now allowed for rulers... The code was prohibiting them before.
CAVEAT though... the current values are already stored in saved games... it means you'll have to wait for a new election before values start to be what they should.

Game Balance
The new GC has now a lot of minor countries starting up as unstable and then changing to minor industrialized over the years. This is mostly to reduce their craftsmen production (e.g Argentina won't export steel at start). Won't affect ongoing games.

In the commerce box, merchants ships will be found more easily and may be attacked by up to 5 enemy ships / merchants (before it was 2.5). Reminder: this is an abstracted combat so damages per chaser is low anyway.

Modding
By activating DebugShowAllLanes in general.opt you can see all rail lanes at once.

WIA Patch 1.10e - Oficial

Fecha: 13 de noviembre de 2012

WIA Patch 1.10e - Official

El enlace

http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.p ... post254482

Lo que contiene

A legacy patch for the legacy patch:

This patch is comprehensive, containing all changes since the original release of WIA [version 1.00b]

Python script checks run [thank you LaFrite!]

Duplicate Aliases resolved in Move Types, Terrains, Sounds, Colors, Ability Kinds, Models and Units
Aliases corrected:

Settings file AI.opt
added $SPA in Various.ini

Setups

Removed the setups for the ''original'' 1755 Campaign, 1756 Montcalm scenario, and 1759 Annus Mirablis scenario, leaving the ''COL'' faction variants intact.

The improvements made in the ''Colonial Faction'' variants are numerous, and were not consistently included in the originals, resulting in some aberrant situations. Currently, resources are not available to reconcile the differences and correct the original setups.
The Database will still include these older variants for modding purposes, and the game will still include the Events files for these scenarios to allow ongoing games to be completed.

Events

1812 Campaign: corrected the timing of British reinforcements in 1814 after Napoleon's Exile.

Hola Picaron

Puede ser que haya que incluir el archivo de la campaña de 1812 que aparece más abajo del enlace del parche?

Creo que hay algún problema con esa campaña. Al menos el archivo que añaden más abajo es más grande que el que instala el parche en sí.

1.03d quickfix for Pride of Nations, Vainglory of Empires

Mensaje por picaron »

Fecha: 16 de diciembre de 2012

El enlace

1.03d quickfix for Pride of Nations, Vainglory of Empires

Lo que contiene

Here is a new quickfix. Quickfix means it is not all inclusive, so you need to have installed version 1.03 before. Ongoing games are compatible with the quickfix.

Gameplay change
If a colonial region is of same ethnic as your main ethnic, has 100% loyalty and 95% or more colonial penetration, then it will switch to 'non colonial status'. This status will itself transform to national status if the region can link to your capital by land, otherwise it will stay in 'non national, non colonial status'

You can now lose several points a turn if your national morale is above 100. Chances depend of how high you are compared to the baseline of 100.The cap is 10 points a turn.

Fixes
A unit can now replace more than one element of same family per turn, if the nation owning it have the proper faction modifier. Before, the modifier worked only for different families.

Region decision test NeedThisStrucAttribAny was testing only against your own attributes, not the ones of any nation/faction in the region.

Data
Several files had some errors fixed thanks to Lafrite excellent tool (which is available to anybody asking for it). These files are:1880 VGN Natives Raids.sct, SPA 1880 Events.sct, VGN Natives Raids.sct, ITA Events.sct, SPA Events.sct
