Realmente la cosa pintaba mal........................la partida estaba siendo ganada a los puntos pero me quedaba el mal sabor de boca de haber sido inmovilizado por los sucesivos desastres en mis CVs, Lunga reconquistada y Tulagi asediada.
El caso es que se me ocurrió una trampa, a saber:
1º Amagar un desembarco en Lunga con apoyo aeronaval y bombardeo previo pero desviarme una vez localizado.
2º Petrolear en alta mar y dirigirme pegado a la costa australiana hacia Port moresby donde había enviado un convoy muy creible hace días con suministros y semiprotegido intentando que el ataque a Lunga fuera una distracción para conseguir desviar la atención del japonés y así colarle suministros en PM.
3º Debido a mi fuerte CAP sobre PM era de esperar que una vez desaparecido el inmediato peligro para Japón en Lunga la Kidobutai pasara a apoyar la destrucción del convoy aliado que desembarcaba lentamente.....
4º Una vez localizado el grueso del enemigo dirigirme a "revientacalderas" a la sombra de PM y al alcance mutuo con la intención de si no autoinmolarme, si causarle tantos daños como fuera posible protegido por el paraguas de 72 cazas embarcados y una CAP terrestre de unos 100 aparatos, sobrecargando el aeródromo pero por tiempo muy corto ya que el traslado se produjo el día anterior.

En fin, que todo ha salido según lo planeado, aunque esto no ha acabado y el Enterprise tendrá que pasar algún tiempo ( creo que poco) en el dique. También hay SS enemigos por la zona y más aviones con torpedos que pueden salvar la situación de la jornada.
Alguna consideración final.
El ataque no ha sido decidido hasta ultimísima hora, hasta comprobar que las condiciones requeridas se cumplían y en todo momento ha estado pendiente de suspensión. No podía arriesgarme a otra masacre unilateral de CVs por parte del enemigo. Lo que me ha ayudado mucho a decidirme ha sido que las unidades de superficie japonesas se han cebado durante un par de turnos contra los sobrevivientes de Tulagi, gastando sus municiones ( conocemos la precariedad de suministros japonesa y que hay que recargar los cañones)y por otro lado, el ataque previo de la "Kido" sobre mi cebo de "supplies" en PM ( OJO, los supplies siempre vendrían bién si los hubiéramos descargado en su totalidad) sufriendo daños en su CAP que han resultado al final decisivos.
Nada más y disculpad por no haber puesto mas cosas los días pasados pero es que las cosas estaban casi tranquilas.....sólo mis 4Es machacando sin piedad las instalaciones y las tropas en Tassa y Buna.

Pd.: es curioso como los pilotos reservan mas torpedos en proporción para los cargueros enemigos que para los CVs.
