1. The most obvious change incorporated with Emperor of the Fading Suns: Reality - Emperor Wars Mod is the major overhaul of the ownership of planets on the jumpweb map.
Instead of starting slow spending the first dozen or so turns conquering rebels and exploring planets the player will go into direct conflict and diplomacy with the other noble houses while still having plenty of rebels to fight and planets to explore.
Each player will start the game with multiple planets, resources, and a stable tax base.
2. In the original version of Emperor of the Fading Suns (EFS) the AI would continuously build insane amounts of low quality units in every town.
Now, to make it more realistic all military units can only be built in Forts, Factories, Palaces, Churches, and Labs.
Secondly, the AI would cover entire planets with cities now Engineer units can only be produced in Palaces. (The idea being that only the noble can commission the construction of a new city.) Also, militia legions can only be exclusively built in Palaces. (The premise being that only the noble can order a draft/conscription of the general population to raise militia legions.)
3. In the original Emperor of the Fading Suns, the League only had Agoras on a few select planets. However, in the Fading Universe a League Agora can be found on almost every world. Therefore, Agoras with resources to buy or sell are now located through out the Known Worlds.
4. Holy Terra and Leagueheim now have their scepters and grounded starships reinforced to make it harder for human players to easily steal them early in the game.
